And so the time has come for us to complete what we have started. A week ago we started listing the top ten things to look for in a modern man, today we complete this list:
5. Passion and Drive.
Passion can be described as a strong sexual desire; a powerful emotion such as joy, anger, hatred; boundless enthusiasm. For this entry we’re going to focus on the latter. A guy must be passionate about something, but it is not just about so-so passion! Accompanying this passion must be the twin brothers hard work and motivation. (Now here is a safe way to have a 3-some!) Men like this are pillars of our society, objects to be desired and hunted down like prey. I don’t know about anyone else but having a successful man, no matter the profession, as a partner is a “mussity.” That’s my new word.
A man who makes his own decisions, is a leader and not a follower is sexier than that guy in the Flow advertisement any day. In our community the greatest example of independence is, owning one’s own place……. well at least renting! Lets face facts with the police being as friendly as they are, and people being as nosy as they can be it just makes sense. Moreover, the hide and seek business is for kids!
3. Hotness factor.
On a scale of 1 – 10 he is an 11! Again everyone has a type of guy that they go for, so for this one we will focus on your attraction to the guy. Research shows that tall men are the most attractive. Guys 6 feet and over, where you at? Also, apparently humans are attracted to symmetry, but as the Good doctor Molly says: the man must look so good to you that when you “lock you eye”, you see his face and it makes you feel good.
The Hide and Seek game mentioned under independence raises another issue. If the man is hiding you, it could be he is either not single or he is living with his MAMA. Now Mama living is understandable if you under 25, after that the man needs a shrink or a decent job but definitely not a relationship. However, if he is with someone else STOP IT RIGHT THERE! HAVE SOME SELFRESPECT, MOVE ON AND FIND YOUR OWN. REMEMBER HOT BOY DONT WEAR PEOPLE SWEAT INNA.
Can’t stress how important this one is. My parents have been married for 47 years. Why? Old fashioned values. Values such as loyalty, commitment and consideration age gracefully like a bottle of wine. Take a look not so much at his friends but the quality of his friendships, for these display the true man that he is. If he takes the time out to Cook even an awful dinner, for you it shows he is willing to spend time on you and there lies the making of a good relationship. I’m not the best at cooking, but I am going to damn well try. Doing other things such as the laundry, pulling the chair out for you to sit, asking how your day was all helps to frame a relationship.
BTW, anyone has a nice Italian recipe I can borrow? I am serious. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
